Compass: An instrument used for navigation and orientation.
Horizon: The line where the earth's surface and the sky appear to meet.
Storm: A violent disturbance in the atmosphere.
Shore: The land along the edge of a sea or lake.
Marooned: To be stranded or left alone in an uninhabited place.
Fog: Thick cloud of tiny water droplets suspended in the atmosphere.
Signal: A gesture, action, or sound that conveys information.
Rescue: To save someone from a dangerous situation.
Desperate: Having lost all hope; reckless.
Supplies: Necessary items or provisions needed for survival.
Shelter: A place giving protection from the elements.
Haunted: Frequently visited by a ghost or spirit; often troubled by past events.
Echo: A sound that is reflected off a surface and heard again.
